Whether it be the weeds in our yards that actually can be eaten or have medicinal properties, to foraging in the forests, to making root beer by sapping trees. Making natural dyes to color our clothing, or staining wood, to identifying fuel, etc. It is stuff you never really imagined is available for use closer than you thought.
Wilderness Awareness is about harnessing new food sources, new medicinal sources, and learning about herbs that you can grow. It is about making an apothecary and treating illnesses naturally. It is about getting away from Big Pharma medicines and trying alternatives that you make at home at a fraction of the cost.
