The term Apothecary can make images in your mind of the middle ages or when we had Snake Oil salesmen. But in fact an apothecary is simply a pharmacy. But unlike a simple medicine chest or first aid kit, it can involve natural remedies as well as prescribed ones. This information is for educational purposes only. In the following three videos, we will discuss Apothecary Terms: How to Prepare Plants for Use. Every plant has different uses and technically recipes for using the plant. If directions on a plant use state use the leaves in an infusion, you need to know what this means. These following videos will explain the proper ways to utilize the plant’s medicinal values on a how to prepare the plants for use. Use these as a guide for making your own apothecary if you so desire. Not all plants have to come from the wild. You can also utilize these methods for herbs in your garden or some you may have purchased at a store. Again, these are for educational purposes only.
